Eye Tracker
Eye Tracker is a tool used to extract information from the eyes of the user such as the characteristic features of the eye, and it determines the point of gaze of the user. The main applications for this technique include:
- human-computer interaction (HCI), e.g. communication with
the physically disabled - assessing concentration (e.g. possible application in autistic child therapy)
- market research and usability
- assistive technology
It is one of the few solutions that provide contact-free input, so it may be used as the most hygienic solution in public places. Also calibration of the system is very quick and easy. A special software application based on Eye Tracker for therapy of amblyopia (aka. lazy eye) is to be developed shortly.
