Young Digital Planet has decided to release a key piece of technology behind YDP content products, Empiria Player, into the public domain. This enables current users of YDP content products to continue using these regardless of changes in technological environment that may take place in the future. In particular, with the source code available, Empiria Player can be freely further developed by interested parties.
